Our History
In 1980, Mr. Eduardo Vega founded his company as a sole proprietor in the distribution business, introducing products primarily from Mexico and then Guatemala. A year after Vega’s Distributors was transferred from San Estevan, Orange Walk to Benque Viejo Del Carmen, which has been its home base ever since, assisting with 74 employment opportunities to its nearby residences.
With the grace of God, hard work and a lot of perseverance on behalf of the owner, directors & employees, Vega’s Distributors is now well-known internationally, for its importation of Dry Goods from Central America, Asia & Commonwealth regions and locally for its distribution services to Supermarkets & Wholesalers throughout Belize.
Its vision remains to continue be one of the leading distributors & have the best distribution company of Belize; and furthermore, to continue seek the market to maintain and keep a solid supply chain of products
